

Tatjana Prenzel is an illustrator based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She studied Visual Communication / Illustration at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, where she received her diploma in 2018. She also studied at the Haute école des arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France, and at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle (Saale). She now works from her studio in Frankfurt.

Her illustrations center on relationships, intimacy, and the quiet complexities of modern life, often told through a female perspective. She is particularly interested in in-between moments – what is felt but not said, what is hidden, and what lingers beneath the surface.
Her work combines analog and digital processes, resulting in textured, vibrant images with a strong emotional tone.
